   It is an excellent trekking experience. The trail is challenging but still manageable for moderately fit adults. Our guide Hac leads us to the top of the hill, and gives an account of the animals and vegetations we come across along the way. The local lunch is also very tasty.

   Awesome and challenging trek, made my stay on Phu Quoc. So was just the best guide, his English is very good and his enthusiasm for nature is equal to mine. This was a climb and was a challenge for me getting back into trekking after feet surgery. The view at the top was well worth the effort as was the hammocks we could rest in. To top off the day we had a beautiful lunch and swim at the waterfalls. Don’t hesitate to do this tour!

   Super Ausflug – tolle Guides
   Wir waren mit Si und seinem Nachwuchskollegen wandern. Der Ausflug ist eine Privattour! Die Abholung von unserem Homestay hat hervorragend geklappt, die Wanderung auf einen Berg mit toller Aussicht hat bei uns in Summe ca 2,5 Stunden gedauert und die beiden Guides haben viele Stopps gemacht um uns Tiere und Pflanzen näher zu erklären. Bei Bedarf hätten wir auch noch mehr Verschnaufpausen machen können. Oben macht man dann eine längere Pause und chillt in der mitgebrachten Hängematte.

   Anschließend gab es vietnamesischen Pfannkuchen bei einem Straßenverkauf mit einer lustigen,älteren Frau. Die Schlussbelohnung – baden im Wasserfall – hat die nötige Abkühlung gebracht und uns wieder erfrischt.

   Si hat viele Fotos während des Ausflugs gemacht und uns auch später zum Download zur Verfügung gestellt 🙂 Der Kontakt via WhatsApp war unkompliziert und wir haben uns rundum hervorragend betreut gefühlt! Auch das Englisch von beiden Tour Guides war sehr gut und wir konnten uns problemlos unterhalten und haben noch viel weitere Infos über die Insel und das Leben hier erhalten.

   Wir können die Tour von Herzen weiterempfehlen wenn jemand Lust hat etwas anderes auf Phu Quoc zu erleben als die üblichen touristischen Angebote! Daumen hoch 👍🏻

   Die Tour hat sich sehr gelohnt.
   Es geht quer durch den Wald . Der Guide legt Zwischenstopps ein und erklärt viel zu Flora und Fauna.
   Oben angekommen kann man sich in den mitgebrachten Hängematten erholen.
   Das Mittagessen war sehr gut.
   Das Bad unter dem Wasserfall am Ende war toll und erfrischend.
   Der Guide hat zu einer tollen Stimmung beigetragen und am Ende zusätzlich noch Kokosnüsse besorgt.

   プライベートツアーを満喫できます。ガイドのSiさんの気配りがgoodです。
   私の時は自分ともう1名のソロトラベラーの計2名参加でしたが、とても楽しく過ごさせていただきました。

   トレッキングは想像していたよりハードでしたが、Siさんが植物や昆虫などの説明をしてくださったり、途中にちょいちょい見どころがあったので、しんどい思いはせずに頂上までたどり着けました。
   昼食後、滝で水浴びができますので(穴場！)水着とタオルを持参されることをお勧めします。汗をかいた後なのでとても気持ちいいですよ。
   ビーチやウォータースポーツも良いですが、山登って、ランチを食べて、水遊びして、って子供の頃のように遊び倒した充実の1日でした。

   フーコックでの良い思い出になりました。Siさんありがとう！

   Actually I joined 4 tours with them during my stay- The Starfish Beach, the waterfall, Night food tour as well as Cycling tour to the village.

   All tours were well organized. I was travelling alone so they drove me with their scooters everywhere. It’s very safe to travel with them & you can always stop wherever you want for photos or food/drinks!

   They helped me to take lots of photos & videos throughout the journey. Very nice picnic at the waterfall. Sharing lots of knowledge about the jungle & the area. I was amazed about the local food at the food tour…already missed the Banh Mi 😭

   I would like to thank you Si & Hac who bought me so much good memories! Hope I can see them very soon in future!

   Enjoyable hike and delicious lunch
   We enjoyed our hike very much with Si . Even though we did a last minute booking, he was kind enough to accommodate us. He was friendly, funny and knowledgeable about Phu Quoc . He is also a strong supporter of small local businesses .

   We especially found the lunch of Vietnamese pancake cooked with care by a local auntie, delicious ! The waterfall, though small was a good choice to go to after the hike.

   We would definitely recommend Si and hope to be able to do another tour with him if we come to Phu Quoc in future

   Best Jungle Hike in Phu Quoc!!!!
   Everything we hoped for and more. Si, the guide was genuinely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, plants and animals. He was very good at introducing everyone in the group and making everyone one feel at ease, with his jokes and facts. We quickly saw a snake, near enough for photos but far away enough to feel safe! The jungle walk was spectacular in the size and height of the trees. Lots of great photo opportunities which get even better once you reach the top with spectacular views, while standing on a rocky view point. There was a nice pause relaxing in hammocks before the ascent down. An unexpected surprise was the quality of the lunch stop at a road side food seller. She had collected leaves from the forest that were unique to us, to put in the salad. We had one of the most delicious meals of our 3 week stay in Vietnam. Then on to a short walk to see the waterfall which initially looks a tad touristy but Si finds a secret spot which is idyllic so you can swim and stand under the waterfall if you wish or just chilli and take in the amazing surroundings. Great trip, would highly recommend! We enjoyed it so much we booked on another one of Si’s tours for the following day.

   Very nice trekking tour. I would definitely recommend booking it.
   The guide, Hac, was very well prepared and had enough drinks, a trekking pole, hammocks for relaxing on the mountain etc. with him.
   The tour was strenuous in the tropical temperatures, but doable with an average level of fitness.
   The lunch (Banh Xeo) tasted good.
   The tour guide provided lots of information about the plants and animals in the jungle, provided some facts about the Phu Quoc, and I was able to try some delicious fruit that I hadn’t tried before.
   The bath in the spring was refreshing and all in all it was a very nice day.

    We spent an amazing day in the jungle with Si and Hac. The trekking was slightly challenging but so worth it. Si and Hac made us feel at home in their jungle playground. We hiked about 280 m above sea level to a hill top that offered beautiful views of the south part of the island, Si and Hac had hammocks and refreshments for us at the top of the hill. After our descent, we visited the nearby waterfall and a small pond where we enjoyed a refreshing jungle dip. On our way, the guides pointed out the many plant and animal species, let us try egzotic fruits, and kept the atmosphere fun. We highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in nature and willing to venture away from the sandy beaches. Thank you Si and Hac!

    Highly recommend!
    The trek was fantastic. Si is a great guide, with special sense of humour and really good knowledge of the jungle. Increadable view at the top of the hill and great idea to take hangmats there for the break! The tour is completely planned and organised by himself, it’s a wonderful experience! The food afterwards was also delicious! Nice work, Si!

    Unser Guide Si hat diesen Tag für uns zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Trotz Dauerregen hat er uns humorvoll und voller Enthusiasmus an seinem großen Wissen über die Flora und Fauna des Nationalparks sowie die Geschichte und Kultur seines Landes teilhaben lassen. Für die Wanderung benötigt man etwas Ausdauer, Trittsicherheit und Laufschuhe. Teilweise geht es über Leitern und durch Wasserfälle. Die Aussicht vom Berg ist an trockenen Tagen sicherlich fantastisch. Das Mittagessen war köstlich. Das anschließende Bad am Wasserfall rundete den Tag ab und war ein großer Spaß. Würden wir jederzeit wieder machen!

    A MUST DO!!
    Despite the rainy start to the day, I had the absolute best time on my Trek with guides Hac and Phat! The hike to the top was challenging but the guides constantly stopped to allow for a breather and went at a pace that I was comfortable with. The included lunch was magnificent and then onto the waterfalls was the perfect way to end the day. Again I didn’t feel rushed and we were able to spend a decent amount of time swimming in the waterfall before needing to head back. Overall This is one of the best day trips I’ve ever done and would highly recommend.

    Wear white shoes at your own risk, they are likely to get a bit muddy if traveling during rainy season!
